Matthew Dysart

PhD Student

Matt holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His research applies synthetic and systems biology to environmental engineering, with a focus on developing biological sensors for monitoring processes in wastewater systems. He hopes to expand this work into freshwater applications in the future. Outside the lab, Matt enjoys cooking, sports, hiking, and doing his best to avoid the soul-crushing heat of Texas.
