Lin Fang

PhD Student

Lin holds a B.S. in Biology and Computational & Applied Mathematics & Statistics (CAMS) from the College of William & Mary. He is passionate about leveraging systems and synthetic biology to engineer microbial communities for environmental applications. His work focuses on developing foundational tools to better investigate and manipulate environmental microbiomes, aiming to advance both understanding and real-world implementation. Outside the lab, Lin enjoys playing soccer, traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, and discovering new Chinese restaurants.
