Elizabeth Zeng

PhD Student

Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, where she conducted research in the Joshua Blodgett Actinobacteria Lab. She is an NDSEG Fellow, supporting her graduate studies in microbial engineering and synthetic biology. Her research focuses on developing tools to better understand phage host range within native microbial communities, with the broader goal of engineering microbiomes for improved environmental health. Outside the lab, Elizabeth enjoys cooking and crocheting.
