Elizabeth recently showcased her research at the Rice Synthetic Biology Institute (RSBI) annual retreat, presenting her project “Lytic Phage Host Range and Phage–Phage Interactions in Complex Communities.” Her work explores how phages interact and compete within natural microbial ecosystems - an important step toward engineering more resilient and controllable microbiomes.
