Renallen C. Neckles

MS Student

Renallen holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and was an NSF BioSMART REU intern at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he explored microbial biotechnology. His current research focuses on microbiome engineering, specifically studying plasmid competition within microbial communities. Beyond the lab, Renallen is passionate about STEM outreach, soccer, road trips, and book clubs. He’s also actively involved in Koinonia fellowship and worship.
