Madeline (Maddie) Wolken

Maddie holds a B.S. in Biology from Our Lady of the Lake University, a Certificate in Global Health, and an MPH in Epidemiology from UT Health Science Center. Her research sits at the intersection of environmental engineering and public health, where she leverages wastewater monitoring to uncover population health trends and assess the cumulative impacts of chemical and non-chemical stressors on communities. Outside the lab, Maddie enjoys baking, trips to the Frio River, and hanging out with her cat, Cyrus. You’ll often find her exploring Houston’s food scene or browsing local craft shows.
