My research broadly focuses on advancing and optimizing next-generation biofilm-based wastewater treatment technologies (like MBBR, MABR), as well as improving their resiliency to combat extreme weather events. My interest also lies in evaluating sustainable and cost-effective nutrient removal and recovery technologies for wastewater treatment.

I love playing sports, especially table tennis. My other hobbies include traveling, reading and sleeping.
